| In BBC, we have an awesome Community Manager named Marybeth. Marybeth is cool people. She listens to my crazy ideas and does a great job of making me believe they are brilliant. Today I told her that I planned on making $1,000,000 a month with the next BBC thing. She was on board. But when you think about it, $1,000,000 a month is absolutely batshit insane. Or is it? I know you might just be thinking about making a couple thousand dollars to help you with your current situation and the idea of making $1,000,000 might make you break out into hives but I want you to stick with me here for a second. What if somehow I could reach 100,000 people every month and got them to spend on average just $10. That's it. That's $1,000,000 right there. 100,000 people is a lot of people so what about 50,000? Then I need them to spend $20. 10,000 people? $100. Math isn't stopping me from making $1,000,000 a month. The math checks out. Get your calculator and do it for yourself! What's holding me back is a strategy. I'm not talking about a blog strategy. I'm talking about a full-blown business strategy. Over the past couple of months I've been researching like a madman. I literally haven't created any new content for my sites in forever. I've been solely focused on a single problem and that is how do I help EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT CROSSES MY PATH achieve their dream? I'm not talking about the overachievers or those that are fortunate enough to have 12 hours each day to devote to this stuff. I'm talking about every single person that comes across me or my company, how can I help them achieve what they really want? I like asking big questions like this because they force your mind to think differently. If you ask yourself how can you make $10 the logic your brain uses is completely different than if you ask yourself how can you make $10,000 today. So I want to push for $1,000,000 a month but also help every single person that finds me. It's quite possible those two goals don't complement each other but I have to find out. That's what I've been thinking about and because of that I understand that the blogging mentality is holding a lot of people back. Blogging is its own little world. You know this. You're subscribed to this mailing list and probably read other pro bloggers. Everything they talk about is about blogging. - How to grow your blog
- How to make money with your blog
- How to write for your blog
Many people become really good at blogging, but not great at reaching their goals. Is it blogging's fault? Nope. Blogging is just fine. The problem is that once you reach a certain understanding of blogging you have to expand your thinking. And this is where there is a HUGE problem. The problem is that you seem to have two choices when it comes to this online thing: - Stick with blogging resources that teach you great things about blogging
- Buy a course or coaching from a business guru that is going to cost you a LOT of money
The blogging resources don't teach you how to scale and the big time business courses don't teach you how to get started from the beginning. It's two completely different worlds. So what happens is you have bloggers wondering why they can't grow anymore and you have online business owners wondering why nobody is coming to their site for their great idea. It sucks. If you're just getting started maybe you don't want to think about that $10,000 month because you just want to make sure you can even do this so you're aiming to get 1,000 people to your site. However, you also want to make sure you're putting things in place to help you when you are at that $10,000 level that will help you continue to grow. The BBC Community has now helped HUNDREDS of people make money with their blogs. This is no small feat. Making $200 with your blog puts you in the top 2% of bloggers. This is great until you realize that you might've just screwed up by creating a job for yourself. Sure, you can quit your job but what's the point when you just created another one? On the other side of the spectrum you have the people that pay for the super expensive blogging/business courses that have gone through the exercise of picking the perfect customer avatar. Great, they know their avatar inside out but they have no clue how to get people to their site or even worse because they aren't able to bring in short-term revenue (affiliate marketing, ads, etc) they have to put all plans aside. For me to have an impact on everyone that crosses my path, that means I have to have something for them no matter where they are at in the journey and that's where Momo (that's the codename comes in). It's my new site that is going to replace BBC. The soul of BBC isn't disappearing, it's just moving to a new domain because the word "blog" is too limiting. It limits your mindset. It limits your strategy. It limits your revenue. That's why when the doors open up again for BBC this Friday it will be for the last time. The doors will stay open for a week and then they are closed forever. The question is, should you get in now or wait for the new thing? It would be easier to make a decision if you could see the new stuff but you can't right now so I'll do some fancy bullet points to help you out: - The new site will continue the tradition of allowing you to buy lifetime access to all current and future courses with a single price. However, that price will not be $397 (like it will be Friday). Instead, think closer to $2999+.
- You'll be able to buy courses on an individual basis with the idea being that the basics to help you get started (Pinterest, SEO, etc) are more affordable than the more advanced courses (branding, product creation, sales funnels) that will take you to the next level. Essentially, as your revenue grows, you can continue to scale up the Momo course list.
- Purchasing now also gets you lifetime access to the Slack community which is the gem of the Internet. You'll also be able to purchase access to the community without purchasing a course but you'll have to pay a monthly subscription fee.
- Courses that will be inside of Momo when it officially launches:
- Pinterest
- SEO
-
- YouTube
- Instagram
- Affiliate Marketing
- Building Your Tribe / Growing Your List
- Niche Selection
- Building a Brand You Love
- Creating Sales Funnels
- Product Creation & Launch
- Running a Service-Based Business
- Using Facebook Ads
- Ultimate Webinars
- Amazon Kindle Publishing Success
- Killer Content Creation
- Google Analytics
- Hopefully you understand why buying everything will cost you over $2,999 now. Every single course is being built from the ground up.
- This doesn't even go into the other features that are going into Momo.
I understand if $397 just isn't feasible for you now. That's why Momo is built to help you scale up with the right resources at the right time so don't beat yourself up if you can't make it happen. Remember, I want to have an impact on everyone that crosses my path. My goal is to help you get closer to your dream every single day so when the time is right you can jump into the Momo ecosystem. I don't say this to brag or have any cocky intent behind it but there is absolutely nothing on the Internet that is comparable to Momo. You would have to bring together 9+ different sites to get close. I'm ambitious. Money is my freedom. I want it to be yours as well. We'll talk more this week. BBC opens its doors this Friday for $397. - Scrivs PS: If you're big on Pinterest then you know a lot of people had a crazy Pinterest scare today with their domains being blocked. It sucks to see people scrambling trying to fix things or figure out what's wrong. Let's get you out of that mindset and if Pinterest does a Pinterest again, it won't bother you because you're good to go with other things. |
