Yesterday, we talked a tiny bit about the math of making whatever your Magic Number is. For example, if one of your Magic Number is $10,000 a month and you have a $200 product then you know you need to sell 50 a month.

Not get 500,000 pageviews. Not build a subscriber list of 10,000 people. You just need to find 50 people a month to make that happen.

I said that's only 20% of the equation to reaching your Magic Numbers. What's the other 80%?

I guess we can call it the Emotion side of things. The Math side is pretty easy because you sit down and figure out what you need and then lay out a path.

The bigger problem is the Emotion side. For those that don't make it this is what holds them back.

There are a lot of components to this side and I can't cover them all in this email but I am going to cover one and it's all about Future Truth.

What in the living hell is that?

The idea behind a Future Truth is that you tell yourself something so often that eventually you make it happen.

When I talk about making $20,000 a month, many of you might not notice but part of your brain is saying "ain't no way I can make that happen." It's not always obvious. It's subtle but it's there and it prevents you from making it happen.

However, if you looked in the mirror every single day and just told yourself that you are going to make $20,000 a month and you do this enough times eventually you make it your Future Truth. It becomes something that you believe in.

Now I'm not talking about putting it into existence just by speaking it. You still have to do the work but first, you have to believe that it's even possible for you.

Here is something that I believe. Every single person that opens this email and reads it can make over $100,000 a year with their business.

I'm not blowing smoke up your ass. I truly believe that.

$8,333.34 a month.

That gets you $100,000 in a year. Some of you are already making a couple hundred or thousand dollars a month already with not that large of an audience. It's not that your audience needs to scale, you just need to continue to find how to provide value to the people that matter.

There needs to be a strategy in place, yes. But, but, but a lot of BBC Members will tell you about the private chats that I have that most of my conversations don't even relate to strategy. They relate to belief.

Many want that freedom that I continuously talk about but they aren't sure they can achieve it.

In fact, I recently read that the IRS reported that last year over 500,000 reported that they make over $1,000,000 in income. That's a large ass number. You can't tell me that every single one of those 500,000 people are smarter than you or want it more than you.

I'm not saying you want to be a millionaire. I'm just saying that you can make $100,000. I'm not going to even talk about just making enough to quit your job and stop there. Forget that noise.

I'm talking about the money that your friends and family smile in your face and say they are happy for you but behind your back say you got lucky and they want your life.

So 500,000 people are able to make $1,000,000. It makes you wonder how many people are making $60,000 a year doing their own thing. It has to be a ridiculous number!

If you really believe that ALL of those people are smarter, work harder or have more talent than you then you definitely don't even deserve to reach any Magic Numbers. But I know you don't think that.

If I told you to make a basic mug cake you could do that. Then I showed you how to make a cupcake you could do that. Birthday cake? Done. How about a wedding cake? Sure, you've done the rest, why not move up a level.

Your whole life has been spent constantly upgrading your skills and learning harder things. The only reason you haven't done it with business is because you think it's specialized and only certain people can pull it off.

Fuck. That. Noise.

Yesterday, I said that you could give me your niche and I could figure out how to make $20,000 a month in it. How ballsy, arrogant, cocky, and insane is that for someone to say?

I stick by it though because I'm confident that I can make it happen. If it means starting a YouTube Channel, then I'll make it happen. If it means becoming an Instagram celeb, then I'll make it happen.

I understand the basics and I understand that I need to make something my Future Truth if I want to fully get behind it.

Understand the math. Create your Future Truth. Develop a plan.

What I'm working on is ambitious. It's supposed to walk you through all of this. It's supposed to get you to that level that you want.

It goes far beyond how to Master Pinterest or SEO. It really is about creating the life you want. Not some theoretical bullshit or hippie nonsense.

In fact, when it opens up (if you aren't already a BBC Member) then to join you need to show that you first believe in yourself. If you can't show me that then you can't get in. I don't care if you can pay twice the admission.

You know how some of you make launching your blog a big deal? Like it's a huge event in your mind and some of you keep pushing it off. Well ask ANYONE that has been blogging for 3+ months and they'll tell you that launching their blog was just one small step in that whole journey.

Even the ones that were nervous will shrug and say it really wasn't as big of a deal as they thought.

When you create your Future Truth, subconsciously you know the only thing you can do is take action.

You're going to make it happen. I know it's a struggle at times and it may seem like there are just too many obstacles but you'll get there.

BBC opens its doors for the last time next Friday. It will be open for one week and then it will never open again. In its place will be a whole new site and a whole new experience that will open in late August.

However, this weekend, why don't you focus on your Future Truth. The people that tell you it's not possible need to be questioned why they think that. Don't sit quiet and accept it. Question everything.

Enjoy the weekend.

PS: Did you know last year 641 people climbed to the summit of Mt. Everest. If I want to get crazy with you then I could tell you that it's easier to make $1,000,000 than it is to climb Mt. Everest.

Wild.
